This transformative renovation reimagines a traditional home as a layered, welcoming retreat suited for both everyday living and effortless entertaining. Taken down to the studs, the house was rebuilt with thoughtful additions and enduring materials that balance warmth with architectural clarity.

A plaster-walled study opens off the kitchen, anchored by a masonry fireplace that adds intimacy and character. Across the plan, a gracious screened porch connects directly to the primary bedroom, enhancing indoor–outdoor living throughout the year. Both spaces extend to a stone patio, creating a natural flow between interior and landscape.

In the kitchen, a sculptural marble range hood and integrated marble sink serve as focal points, blending elegance with function. Lacquered finishes at the bar and office introduce depth and contrast against heart pine flooring and a lighter, organic palette. Upstairs and below, the home was fully reconfigured to include en-suite baths for all secondary bedrooms, along with a bunk room designed for children and guests.

The exterior renovation continues the refinement, with whitewashed stone lending a crisp, cohesive presence. A new pool and expansive stone deck—complete with pool bar, bath, and generous storage—create a destination for family life and entertaining. The result is a home that feels both elevated and entirely livable.
